Author Review

Other end of the Forest across the motorway, this is a lot quieter than Tilgate Park. Typical Tilgate though, lots of conifers, clay paths and ferns on the walk. Forestry Commission have done lots of logging work recently. Quite easy to get lost and many paths in every direction. It does get quite hilly in places making for very steep inclines on the way back. Quite often these are bike trails so be alert. There are regular horses being ridden through here so keep your dog on the lead if they aren’t very good at recall.
