Great views straight away from the car park, it's a decent size but is another car park called The Triangle on the other side of the hill if it's full.
Little bit of a climb to start with but not so bad, stick to the paths and there's no stiles, but was one when we cut across the field. Chalk and grass paths, quite uneven in parts.
No water here
In the car park
Grab some binoculars on race day and you can see the track from the top. Are plenty of other routes to explore, and if you want a longer walk you can start in Lavant and walk along the river up to the top.
Not too much advice needed here it's a very straight forward path from the car park up the hill, then round the top and back down. You can go through the fields either side of the path on the way up if you want a bit more open space to let your dog off, but can be animals grazing in there so keep an eye out.
Is quite busy with families and other walkers, and at peak times is a coffee hut in the car park too.
