The postcode is for the Puttenham Common Tarn car park but are two more further along. Puttenham Common middle car park, and Top car park. All are free, and do have height barriers which are around 1.95m
Mix of muddy, forest paths and grassy/sandy heaths. Quite hilly here and some uneven sections. No stiles
Both of the first lakes are fishing lakes so whilst there were no signs, don't think dogs are welcome to swim! About 5 minutes walk after the main lakes though there was a smaller pond with access for dogs to go in fro a splash.
No bins here
There are some labelled trails if you check the signs in the car park which make for easier routes
This is a great area to explore with so much to see. I started by walking round the first lake through the muddy marshlands and after crossing between the two lakes headed left up the path through the forest. After a while it starts to climb a bit as you walk up the hil to fantastic views and the heathland common area. We explored this a bit before heading back down the hill to creat the loop.
Lots of paths here to explore and I only discovered a small section of the while area. My walk covered more forest area, but unless you want a longer walk then if you want to see more of the heathland then I think probably best paragon at one of the other two car parks but I wanted to see the lake as well.
Was busy here which is why Hank was on the lead the whole way, and do watch out as the return leg does go quite close to the road with no fencing for a short while.
