Parking

Pay car park - see photos below for various apps you can use and location code

Terrain

You start at the top of the hill, and before you know it you've walked a fair way down so the way back is all uphill! No stiles or gates or anything - some steps bits and area is used by cattle and horses.

Water

Technically there is a stream here right at the bottom of the hill in the woods, but it's barely a trickle and only small sections where crossings are so don't head here thinking it's a great place for water!

Poo Bins

No bins here

Author Review

As you walk out of the car park you immediately come to a lovely viewpoint straight ahead. Lots of paths here so difficult to describe the route but essentially we headed straight down the hill past the heathland and into the woods where we crossed a little stream, stayed left at the fenced houses and then headed back up the paths through the woods.

Beware some smaller paths look like paths, but my legs cut to ribbons from brambles prove they are not always and probably just deer runs so best stick to more established routes.

On the way back up, do watch out as the paths go very close to roads - they are quiet roads but that just means you can't even hear them until you're right by them so just be wary of letting your dog run too far if off lead.
