Free car park with 1.9m height barrier. Picnic benches in the meadow next to the car park
Is a hill climb to get to the top with several steep and stepped sections. Some paths are very narrow with sides overgrown. No stiles but couple of narrow kissing gates.

The info board at the car park shows the marked routes and we followed the pink one which takes you a slightly longer way through the woods up the hill to the tower.
The signs were clear and easy on the way up, but once we got to the top we couldn't really find any signs for the route on the way down so headed past the tower following the rough direction we thought it would be and ended up back on the main path, but very much more by luck than judgement!
We didn't see a single other person our walk which was a surprise, and at the top there's a lovely open area with great views.
