It is a popular flat circular around the tarn, wheelchair and pushcahir-accessible spot for scenic walks, water sports, and plane-spotting due to its immediate proximity to Leeds Bradford Airport.
There are birds etc on the tarn so make sure your dog isn't disturbing them or the people fishing.

Just a short down the road is the town centre with dog friendly bars and cafes.
Lovely loop of the tarn, gets very busy with people and in the car park but you can also park on the road adjacent to the Tarn. Lovely spot for a picnic and there is also an ice cream van if your lucky and the weather is right which serves doggy ice cream.
