Clue is in the title it's a hill. Some stiles but well marked out footpaths across the whole route.
Not accessible for dogs but there are views of Water and the infamous Lady Bower reservoir plugholes.
No bins
The view point at the top of the hill is spectacular and boasts a trig point for those baggers out there.
As you will see from our pictures unfortunately it had been a very dry summer and as impressive as the plug holes at the reservoir are I can imagine when they are over flowing with water it will be quite a sight. We intend to go back and revisit the area when they are flowing so keep your eyes open for another future walk in the area. The footpath from the reservoir up to Win Hill is challenging terrain, Riley didn't seem to struggle with his 4 paw drive but it was a little more difficult for us humans. But in saying that it was a beautiful ascent to the top of WIn Hill and worth every step because the views from the top are simply perfect and this summit is quite possibly one of my favorites in the Peak District, we could see numerous walks we had completed across the landscape miles away, it really is something special.
There is livestock on the route so while there is plenty of off lead opportunities be vigilant about the areas you let your dog off.
