Car park at the pub, but as usual please make sure you go and buy lunch and a drink if you park there. Also limited parking on the road available.
Hilly, with well laid out pathways and a couple of stiles, definitely one for the more agile dog and dog walker.
No water here
limited bins on this route.
We found this walk via The Juggs pub website, and what a great find of a walk and a pub. All part of Shepherd Neame's pub walk guides. There are 16 walks to try, we'll definitely be checking out some of the other ones. Really well laid out and easy to follow PDFs you can download. We followed the longer route but you can do a shorter 2.5 mile version as well detailed on the pdf.
The walk has quite a steep climb up to the top to cross over the National Trail South Downs Way, but the views on the way are up are stunning so make sure you take the time to look back. The walk does go through Castle Hill Nature Reserve so be mindful of any rules that may be in place at various times of the year about nesting birds etc. There are plenty of off lead opportunities on this walk, but there is not much shade so if its a really hot day and you are doing the longer route make sure take some water for both you and your dog.
