Outside the pub or at the top of Stocking lane.
Historic Trail fully signposted route. A couple of stiles and a small bit of country road without any pathway of about 25 meters.
There is a little stream the dogs can have a paddle in but it's only small.
In both villages.
For such a small route this really is beautiful, and is a circular direct from the village Pub The Bell. Which does delicious food and is very dog friendly with a great range of beers on tap and a very warm welcome when you visit.
As you go over the stone stile you enter a large field next to a horse field so be aware if dogs etc are off lead. This route has two churches on it, and dependent on what time of year you go the fields are full of beautiful wildflowers and the roses trail outside the stone houses and cottages and it really is very picturesque. It's the perfect summers evening short loop with the dog before having a pint in the pub.
