Limited parking along the start of the footpath beside the care home Tall Trees.
Flat well laid out and signposted route, one stile but it does have a lower one for dogs for those dogs that aren't used to Stiles. It does go past an allotment so ensure you keep your dogs on a lead in this area.
A couple of little streams for dogs to have a paddle in.
Regular places on the route where there are poo bins.
Great pub 100m down the road called The Lamb Inn - very dog friendly with a lovely courtyard garden.
This was a group community walk that started from Aria Care Home in Shipton Under Whychwood. We had Goody bags, bacon sandwiches and coffess before heading out on the walk, thank you to Tall Trees for such amazing hospitality. It joins the footpath that runs directly down the side of the home and goes out through a nature reserve area, across beautiful Cotswold Countryside before returning through a walled garden to the start point. No grazing animals on this route and plenty of off lead opportunities. As mentioned above it does go through an orchard area before reaching an allotment and a road so best to keep your dogs on lead during that section. The walk also has a stretch of road of nearly 1km but there is a solid pathway to use so is safe for you and your dogs.
