Beautiful, wide gravel paths make it suitable for most dogs and owners. No Stiles some small hills but nothing strenuous, it's all about taking in the scenic beauty of such an amazing place.

Post visit the village of Chackmore is a 2 minute drive away where you can enjoy a pint at The Queens Head, warm welcome and good variety of drinks available.
If you're looking for a scenic, relaxed dog walk, National Trust – Stowe Gardens is one of the best dog-friendly National Trust properties in the Midlands. Dogs are welcome throughout almost the entire estate, provided they stay on a lead which makes it great for all dogs including Anxious 'Dogs in Yellow'. Move around the Estate without fee of being approached by off lead dogs.

Entry isn't free unless you're a National Trust member, but by becoming a member you receive free entry to over 500 places in our care, and they are making huge steps to make everywhere dog friendly and have their own pawprint rating system and also run a Pooch Passport.
The National Trust Pooch Passport is a free regional reward scheme created in partnership with natural pet food brand Forthglade to encourage dog owners to explore various historical properties, parks, and woodlands across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
How the Scheme Works; Pick up a passport: You can collect a free physical passport booklet for your dog directly from the visitor reception or information desks at participating National Trust sites. Collect unique stamps: Every time you visit a new, participating property with your dog, you can request a stamp from the staff. The dog must be physically present to receive the stamp. Earn rewards:6 unique stamps from different properties earns your dog a free bag of natural Forthglade dog treats.12 unique stamps from different properties rewards your dog with a limited-edition National Trust "Loyal Explorer" dog tag. There are plenty of benches and quiet spots for breaks, so great way to make a day of it and get both circulars done in one day! Water bowls, dog waste bins and even a free dog wash are available.
Café available (dogs allowed in outdoor seating and designated indoor corridor seating, but not inside the main café). They also have a coffee hut with doggy ice cream available. The shop welcomes dogs and have a selection of Forthglade treats available.
There is also a Dog wash station if your dog gets mucky paws on your walk.
