Plenty of spaces at the railway station, £2.90 if you park after 10am on a weekend.
Relatively flat easy walk, a couple of stiles, but they do make for good picture opportunities.
It's the source of the Thames, clue is in the title. a couple of nice bits for the dogs to splash about in but nothing too deep.
At the car park entrance.
No pub or anything on this route I'm afraid, we stopped off to mark some Thames Path miles off on the way back home from another adventure.
As well as The Thames Path this route also covers off some of the Thames and Severn Path Way and the Monarchs Way if you are marking off the miles on any of those routes. the ground on the area around the Source of the Thames was particularly dry when we went and did this walk and I have to say I was glad I was wearing good boots because it was bumpy and not particularly easy going.
A really quiet route, we didn't see anyone else, plenty of off lead opportunities for the dog too and some lovely scenery along the route.
