On street parking by the pub The Dun Cow, as always please park responsibly and respectfully of local residents.
Hilly countryside walk with well laid out footpaths and signposted very well. some stiles and gates to manoeuvre through and over.
A little area with a small stream running through it for a quick paddle but no substantial bodies of water.
In the village of Hornton but none on the route outside of the village.
This is a circular walk from The Dun Cow pub in the village of Hornton, this pub has a large garden that's quite a sun trap in the good weather to the back of the pub and is dog friendly. If you are a camper then Fire Tree Falconry Camping is only a few minutes walk away from part of this route so you can easily do the walk from there. It's a fabulous campsite with brilliant facilities and fishing ponds.
April and May is the prime time to visit the lovely Oxfordshire village of Hornton, the wisteria is out and in full bloom and is simply stunning. There are plenty of places for off lead galivanting across the countryside and the views are beautiful. Some horses in fields on the side of the footpath in places so be vigilant when your dog is off lead etc.
