There is a car park available at the pub, but we chose to park on the green instead instead. As the walk was going to take us a couple of hours, we didn't want to take up valuable spaces in the pub's car park for the duration of our walk. We were always planning to visit the pub afterwards, so we were still able to support the pub while being considerate of their parking.
Another relatively flat walk, making it a great option for a gentle countryside stroll. There are no stiles to navigate, although there are a few gates along the route. There is also a short section where the route follows a quiet country road. We found it to be very quiet with little traffic, but as always, take care when walking alongside roads with your dog.

This is a lovely circular walk starting and finishing at The Crew Arms, a welcoming dog-friendly pub. It's the perfect spot to head back to after your walk, and I can highly recommend their fish finger sandwiches—they were absolutely delicious and a great post-walk treat!
This walk takes you along a public footpath past the airfield, adding something a little different to the route. We did the walk in August and were lucky enough to see a beautiful field of sunflowers along the way, which made for a lovely seasonal highlight! 🌻
We didn't see any grazing animals during our visit, but as the fields can change throughout the seasons, it's always wise to keep an eye out for livestock and be prepared to adjust your dog's lead accordingly.
