There is parking at the Pub, a small car park to the rear of the pub and then on road parking outside, as always be mindful of the local residents when parking at/near the pub.
A reasonably flat walk with one hill. No stiles, clear laid out foot path. This pathway does cross over some 'Gallops' at a local Horse Racing Training Centre that you obviously need to be aware of and keep your dogs on a lead around.
No water here
Poo bin on the grass outside the front of the Hare and Hounds.
This is a circular walk direct from the pub. As you walk from the village and head up the only real hill on the route make sure you take time to look back across the gorgeous Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire countryside, it's quite the view.
The first field you walk through from the pub usually contains horses so make sure you leave your dog on the lead, they are very friendly but super curious so often follow you up through the field. There can be sheep on this route as well, as always use your common sense and keep an eye open for the signs on gates etc about livestock.
This is a circular route from the pub, it's a super dog friendly pub that has a lovely garden at the front and staff who make a great fuss off your dogs. The roast dinner is a particular winner in our opinion, but if your after a smaller snack the ships with cheese and beans ticks the box.
The great thing about this route is that if it has been wet and muddy there is a section of lane at the end of the walk that gives you the opportunity to knock the mud off your boots before having a post walk drink.
