Author Review

The carpark was easily accessible but there are also a lot of cyclists who use the cycle trails nearby. They do not share the same trails. This is an enjoyable walk which starts off with musical trees and sculptures. The pathways are well maintained by the forestry commission and offer great views around the surrounding area. There is plenty of off lead areas for dogs and generally a quiet walk into the forest. Only part of the walk would be suitable for a pushchair or a wheelchair. There are no facilities to purchase drinks or food around the trail. This walk would suit all the family.
