Free long stay car parking in the town centre is available.
This walk starts off in the Cotswold town of Chipping Norton and circles around through the villages of Over Norton and Salford. Well signposted footpaths make this walk easy to follow. There is part of the walk as you can see from the photos that turns into a little river to walk through in the wetter weather so wellies are recommended.
As mentioned above seasonal water features.
In the villages and town there are poo bins.
The viewpoint in Over Norton has a lovely tree trunk bench to take a perch and have a brew on..... if the dogs give you some space that is! In the village of Salford there is a lovely pub called The Black Horse, unfortunately our spaniels were a bit muddy so we didn't want to trash the place but it looked lovely with a huge back garden - so we have put it on our list to revisit so expect another walk from that area at some point in the future! Plenty of pubs back in Chipping Norton as well, and of course Jeremey Clarkson's Diddly Squat farm is only a couple of miles up the road from the town too.
Great countryside walk, as usual with our walks plenty of off lead opportunities, it is a countryside walk so in the bad weather make sure you take your wellies! There were no cattle grazing in December when we did this walk but just be mindful in the other seasons etc.
