Free on street or at the pub, please be mindful of local residents and support the local pub.
Dassett Hills, it's a group of hills in the Warwickshire countryside. There are well walked pathways across the Hills but it's a free roam place, so you can walk as little or as far as you want, but this is a small circular aimed at walkers who would like a post walk pint or and early walk and a brew in the hot summer months.
No water here
Plenty of poo bins available in the hills.
The Lost Pug is a super dog friendly pub and you always get a very warm welcome whenever you go. This route is specifically designed to be a short circular for you to do when the heat is too much for your dog in the middle of the day, either in the early mornings you can stop off for a cup of tea or the evenings to watch the stunning sunsets from the pub garden and have a pint and a bite to eat.
On Dassett Hills there are quote often grazing cattle and it is recommended you keep your dogs on lead. During summer evenings it does get very busy so do not expect to have the hills to yourselves to watch the sun set. We have also done a couple of longer routes around this area, so if you wanted a bit more distance then please have a look at our account and Riley The Sprocker Spaniel as well.
